607 ELDP – Power and Politics

The interplay of power and politics shapes leadership decision-making and organizational outcomes. This session gives county leaders a foundational understanding of how to evaluate and harness the political dynamics and structures that impact public agencies. Lecturer insights, group discussions, and interactive online polls allow participants to improve their ability to recognize internal and external organizational politics and thus to influence individuals and groups, frame ideas, and solve problems.
