605 ELDP – Managing Public Sector Projects

Project management is critical for creating high-performing organizations and positive outcomes. This session serves as a capstone for the rest of the ELDP program by building on, combining, and enhancing all the leadership competencies in other sessions. Participants develop their skills for managing projects by completing a group project that serves as a final product of the entire ELDP program. With instructor guidance, participants can apply strategic approaches to public leadership – including approaches for empowering team members, optimizing inputs, overcoming constraints, overseeing processes, improving communication, and coordinating human capital and other resources.
