CAO Executive Institute

The CAO Executive Institute is a program designed for newly appointed county executives (CEOs and CAOs), department heads, and emerging executive leadership.

As county governance evolves within adapting political environments, executives need the resiliency to thrive among relationships to expand outcomes and impacts. Shaped by current exemplary office holders and recently retired leadership, the curriculum is tailored towards governance practices across rural, suburban, and urban counties.

Registration is now open for the 2025 - 2026 Institute.
